How a project runs

Involved from A to Z – or exactly where you need it

Most projects follow the same six steps. Some customers need all of them, others only one or two. The result is the same: a machine that does what it should, and documentation the next person can understand.

  1. Specification and ideas

    We join in early, when the machine's functions are being discussed, and contribute ideas about what it can and should be able to do.

  2. Design and electrical documentation

    Calculations, block diagram, wiring diagrams, panel layout and part list – ready for the panel builder to order and build.

  3. Panel building via partner

    The electrical panels are built in Denmark by our partner in North Zealand – based on the documentation we made.

  4. PLC and HMI programming

    Well-commented program code on tested standard blocks, and operator screens that follow your company standard.

  5. FAT and commissioning

    We assist at or oversee the factory acceptance test, and we commission and troubleshoot on site – nationally and internationally.

  6. Support after start-up

    We do not disappear when the machine runs. We always support after the system has been started up.

The man behind

Morten Jensen – the engineer who also listens to the operators

Amager Engineering has been active since 1 January 2017. Behind the company is Morten Jensen: installation engineer with 12 years as product specialist in electrical and automation for the process industry, and before that 5 years as a service electrician.

Troubleshooting on site has taught him what a machine really needs – and that the daily operators are the best source of what should be improved.
